Michael Clark (and dance company)

I like to track my thoughts when I search on the internet.  It's amazing how one thing leads to another.  Listening to The Jam easily led me on a search for other music I loved around this same time period.  For example, I can remember watching the videos playing on the TV sets propped up high in the corners of  the dance club called Spit. I was mesmerized watching Michael Clark and (dance) company dancing to the music of The Fall.  I never thought I would see this video again
yet here it is...

Kate Bush by Robert Hettinger

I bought this painting from ebay several years ago (~2006).  It was this painting that compelled me to keep looking for fine art on ebay.  I have discovered so many wonderful artists since then.  This painting by the artist  Robert Hettinger is a portrait of Kate Bush, the English singer-songwriter, musician, and producer. (www.katebush.com).  I have admired Kate and her music from the very first moment I played the homemade cassette tape of her best hits (~1980). I will forever be grateful to the person who gave me this musical gift for nothing.  I only wish I could remember his name;)  Years later, when I saw this painting up for auction, I had to have it.
